Installation Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Installation Procedure
  1. Install the HVAC control processor to the headliner.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the auxiliary HVAC control processor.
  3. Raise the front of the headliner back into place.
  4. Install garnish moldings. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Roof Console Replacement (Full Length) , Roof Console Replacement (Short Length) in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the windshield pillar moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  8. Install the assist handles, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement (Utility Rear) , Assist Handle Replacement (Front) in Interior Trim.
  9. Calibrate the HVAC module actuators. Refer to Actuator Recalibration in HVAC Systems - Automatic.
