  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Rear Tank)Β , Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis Rear)Β , Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup)Β , Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis Front)Β , Fuel Tank Replacement (Front Tank)Β .
  2. Remove fuel lines from fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Hose/Pipe Assembly ReplacementΒ .
  3. Remove the fuel sender assembly retaining ring using the J 44402 .
  4. Remove the fuel sender assembly and the seal. Discard the seal.
  5. Clean the fuel sender sealing surfaces.
