Important:Β  Most truck models use a spring-type hose clamp at the hose connections. When using this type of clamp, install the radiator hoses on dry, non-painted surfaces in order to ensure proper sealing.

Reusing the spring-type clamps on aftermarket hoses is not recommended.

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining & Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
  2. Reposition the inlet hose clamp at the radiator.
  3. Remove the inlet hose from the radiator.

  4. Reposition the inlet hose clamp at the water crossover.
  5. Remove the inlet hose from the water crossover.
