- Remove the oil level indicator.
- Remove the right exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (4.3 L) .
- Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt.
- Remove the oil level indicator tube from the engine using a twisting motion.
- Clean the old sealer from the oil level indicator tube and the engine block.
