  1. Remove the oil level indicator.
  2. Remove the right exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (4.3 L) .

  4. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt.
  5. Remove the oil level indicator tube from the engine using a twisting motion.
  6. Clean the old sealer from the oil level indicator tube and the engine block.
