- Remove the negative battery cables.
- Release the wiring harness connector at the glow plug relay.
- Remove the glow plug wiring harness nuts and harness.
- Remove the relay mounting nuts.
- Remove the glow plug relay by lifting the glow plug off the mounting studs.
