- Remove the upper intake manifold cover.
- Open the air bleed valve on top of the fuel manager/filter to release any pressure in the fuel supply system.
- Remove the mounting bolts that connect the fuel manager/filter to the intake manifold.
- Remove the wiring harnesses and fuel hoses.
- Remove the fuel manager/filter by lifting straight up.
- Remove the fuel heater threaded cap nut by using hand pressure or a strap wrench.
- Remove the fuel heater from the filter housing.
- Clean the fuel heater to housing sealing surfaces.
