  1. Remove the battery cable junction block bracket bolts.
  2. Fig 2: View Of Generator Bracket, Bolts, Nuts & Stud

  3. Remove the fan and clutch. Refer to Fan Clutch Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  4. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory in Engine Mechanical - 8.1L.
  5. Remove the drive belt idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 8.1L.
  6. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (8.1L Engine)Β .
  7. Remove the generator bracket bolts and nut.
  8. Remove the generator bracket stud.
  9. Remove the generator bracket.
