  1. Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the negative battery cable.

  2. Install the bolt anchoring the negative battery cable to the block.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

  3. Install the bolt anchoring the negative battery cable to the frame.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the negative cable to the power steering accessory bracket (4WD 15 series).
  6. Remove the safety stands.
  7. Lower the vehicle.

  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) .
