Installation Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the battery insulator, if necessary.
- Install the auxiliary battery.
Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install battery hold down retainer and bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the battery hold down retainer bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Connect the auxiliary positive battery cable.
Tighten
Tighten the auxiliary positive battery cable bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
- Snap the auxiliary positive battery cable cap closed.
- Connect the auxiliary negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary Battery) .
