2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P)Β .
  2. Fig 1: Removing Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Module

  3. Pull the retaining tabs (1) toward the back of the vehicle in order to release the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) module (2).
  4. Remove the VSS module (2) from the instrument panel carrier.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the VSS module (2).
  6. Remove the VSS module (2) from the vehicle.
