Removal Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel ReplacementΒ .
  2. Remove the center console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement (Base Console)Β , Console Replacement (Luxury Console)Β , Console Replacement (Console w/ Extension)Β .
  3. Fig 1: Lower I/P Trim Panel

  4. Open the I/P compartment door.
  5. Remove the bolts retaining the lower trim panel to the I/P assembly.

  7. Disconnect all the electrical connectors.
  8. Remove the lower trim panel from the I/P assembly.
