Removal Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (6.0 L w/RPOs Y91 and Z88) , Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (4.8 L, 5.3 L, and 6.0 L) .
- Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the oil pressure sensor using the J 41712 or equivalent.
IMPORTANT:
Clean the area around the sensor before removal. Do not allow debris to enter the engine.
