Installation Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Installation Procedure
- Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 or equivalent to the threads of the oil pressure sensor.
- Refer to FASTENER NOTICE
in Cautions and Notices.
Use the J 41712 or equivalent in order to install the oil pressure sensor.
Tighten
Tighten the oil pressure sensor to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (6.0 L w/RPOs Y91 and Z88) , Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (4.8 L, 5.3 L, and 6.0 L) .
- Check and adjust engine oil level.
