Installation Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the ashtray housing to the lower IP trim panel.
- Refer to FASTENER NOTICE
in Cautions and Notices.
Install the screws holding the ashtray housing to the rear of the IP lower trim panel.
TightenΒ
Tighten the ashtray housing screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
- Connect the ashtray lamp wiring harness to the ashtray housing.
- Install the lower IP trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel ReplacementΒ .
- Insert the ashtray to the IP by depressing the tab and sliding the ashtray forward.
