- Remove the battery cable junction block bracket bolts.
- Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines)Β .
- Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L Engines) in Power Steering System.
- Remove the generator bracket bolts.
- Remove the generator bracket.
