Removal Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Front Seat Removal and Installation - Bucket .
- Remove the head restraint and guides. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement (Non-Cadillac) .
- Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
- Detach the lumbar clip from the top of the seat back frame.
- Rotate the top of the lumbar mechanism forward in order to unclip the lumbar mechanism from the bottom of the seat back frame.
- Disconnect the lumbar cable (6) from the lumbar actuator (5).
- Remove the lumbar assembly from the vehicle.
