Installation Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Suburban C1500SECTION Installation Procedure
  1. Install the speaker to the subwoofer assembly.
  2. Assemble the halves of the subwoofer assembly. Engage the retainers.

  4. Install the subwoofer assembly to the vehicle.
  5. Connect the electrical connections.

  7. Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the bolts which retain the subwoofer assembly to the vehicle.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  8. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Regular Cab Pickup) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Utility Left) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Cab Pickup) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Suburban Right) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Utility Right) , Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement (Suburban Left) in Interior Trim.
