Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the propeller shaft. Refer to One-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement , or Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement in Propeller Shaft.
- Remove the two evaporative emission (EVAP) canister retaining nuts located in the crossmember.
- Disconnect the three EVAP system pipes from the EVAP canister.
- Remove the EVAP canister.
- Remove the EVAP canister brackets from the EVAP canister.
