- Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least one minute for backup power supply to deplete stored energy. Remove air bag simulator from clockspring connector at top of steering column. Install driver's air bag module. See DRIVER AIR BAG MODULEΒ .
- Remove air bag simulator from passenger air bag vehicle harness connector. Install passenger air bag module. See PASSENGER AIR BAG MODULEΒ .
- If equipped with side air bags, remove air bag simulators from side air bag vehicle harness connectors. Connect side air bag vehicle harness connectors.
- Reconnect negative battery cable. Recheck system operation. Perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ . Reprogram preset radio frequencies and set clock.
