DTC P0325: Knock Sensor Module Circuit: Description

2001 Chevrolet Impala PoliceSECTION Description

Knock Sensors (KS) produce an AC signal under all engine operating conditions. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) calculates average voltage range of each knock sensors signal. If KS system is operating normally, PCM should monitor KS signal voltage varying more than and less than calculated average range. DTC sets when PCM malfunctions in a manner which will not allow proper diagnosis of KS system.
