Code Enable Criteria
DTC will set when BCM detects open or short to voltage in column lock drive "B" circuit for 100 milliseconds or open in steering column lock ground for 100 milliseconds. When DTC is set, SERVICE COLUMN LOCK message will be displayed on Driver's Information Center (DIC) and PCM may disable fuel to engine if vehicle speed reaches 1.5 MPH.

When to See a Mechanic

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
