  • Engine is running.
  • Minimum intake air temperature is -40°F (-40°C) or more.
  • Engine Coolant Temperature is more than -40°F (-40°C).
  • Start-up coolant temperature is less than 104°F (40°C).
  • DTCs P0101, P0102, P0103, P0112, P0113, P0117, P0118, P1111, P1112, P1114, or P1115 are not set.

DTC sets when closed loop coolant temperature is not reached within a predetermined time. Maximum allowable time depends upon start up coolant temperature and amount of airflow into engine.
