2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the cable end into the catch on the latch.
  2. Install the cable sheath grommet into the slotted hole in the latch.

  4. Install the hood latch and attaching bolts.
  5. Align the latch within the marked area.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Tighten the hood latch bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the hood latch bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  8. Install the cable sheath to the push-in retainer.

  10. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel ReplacementΒ  .
