- Connect the hood latch release cable to the hood latch.
- Position the hood latch to the marks on the hood latch support bracket.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the hood latch to center support bracket bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the hood latch to center support bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lbft).
- Adjust the hood as required. Refer to HOOD ADJUSTMENT .
- Close the hood.
