- Install a new thermostat housing.
- Ensure that the new thermostat housing has an O-ring seal and is in the groove correctly.
- Install the water pump inlet (with thermostat).NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the water pump inlet bolts.
TightenΒ
Tighten the water pump inlet bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- Install the outlet hose to the water pump inlet.
- Position the outlet hose clamp at the water outlet.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEMΒ .
