2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift control.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the shift control nuts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the shift cable to the shift control.
  6. Install the shift control wire harness to the shift control.
  7. Adjust the shift control cable as necessary. Refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Cable AdjustmentΒ .
  8. Install the console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (Aztek) or Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (Rendezvous) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
