2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the door jamb switch to the vehicle. Fully seat the locking tabs.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the switch.
  3. Install the instrument panel sound insulator (right side only). Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- RIGHT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  4. Install the instrument panel sound insulator (left side only). Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- LEFT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Connect the battery negative cable.
