Open the door.
Remove the check link to pillar fasteners.

Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door or Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
Remove the close-out grommet.

Remove the check link to door fasteners.
Remove the door check link through the inside of the door.
