2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open the door.
  2. Remove the check link to pillar fasteners.

  4. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front DoorΒ  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear DoorΒ  .
  5. Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module ReplacementΒ .
  6. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front DoorΒ  or Water Deflector Replacement - Rear DoorΒ  .
  7. Remove the close-out grommet.

  8. Remove the check link to door fasteners.
  9. Remove the door check link through the inside of the door.
