Removal Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left I/P endcap. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (IP) OUTER TRIM COVER REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove the left air deflector. Refer to DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR - LEFT .

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the I/P dimmer switch.
  4. Remove the I/P dimmer switch knob by pulling outward removing it from the switch.
  5. Remove the fasteners securing the I/P dimmer switch to the air deflector.
  6. Remove the I/P dimmer switch.
