2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front seat into the vehicle.
  2. Tip the front seat forward to engage the front hook attachments.
  3. Connect the front seat electrical connectors.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the front seat adjuster to floor pan bolts. Tighten the bolts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  6. Reposition the front seat to the full back position.
  7. Install the front seat track adjuster covers. Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - FrontΒ .
  8. Install the seat belt anchor plate nut. Tighten the nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  10. Install the head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front SeatΒ .
  11. Enable the SIR system if seat is equipped with air bag. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
