Installation Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lateral accelerometer sensor (1).
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor mounting screws (3).

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor mounting screws to 2.4 N.m (21 in lbs).

  3. Connect the lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (2).
  4. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT -- REAR in Seats.
  5. Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - ABSΒ
