2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Removal (3.1L)

NOTE: Delphi CS130D (K68) 105-amp generator is serviced as a complete unit only.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove drive belt from generator.
  3. Place coolant recovery reservoir aside for access.
  4. Remove bolts (1, 2 & 3) from generator. See Fig 1 .
  5. Disconnect electrical connector from generator.
  6. Remove protective boot from generator output BAT terminal.
  7. Remove generator output BAT terminal nut and remove positive battery lead from generator.
  8. Remove generator.
