Fill Valve-To-Union Fill Line: Removal

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Removal

NOTE: The numbers in parenthesis correspond to numbered components in referenced illustrations.
  1. Relieve the CNG fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE (CNG)Β .
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the fuel tank cover. See Figure.
  4. Remove the trunk trim panel.
  5. Remove the cargo net, the cargo net knobs and the left wheelhouse carpet.
  6. Loosen the fill valve boot clamp and peel back the boot. See Figure.
  7. Disconnect the fill line (3) at the fill valve (5). See Figure.
  8. Loosen the clamp at the tank vent boot and peel back the boot to expose the union. See Fig 1.
  9. Disconnect the fill line at the union.
  10. Remove the fill line from the vehicle.
