HVAC Control Assembly: Removal

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Removal

  1. Remove the instrument cluster trim plate. Remove the retaining screw from the left edge of the HVAC control assembly. Pivot the HVAC control assembly from the instrument panel in order to disengage the tab on the right side of the HVAC control assembly. See Figure.
  2. Pull the HVAC control assembly out of the instrument panel far enough to reach the vacuum and the electrical connectors. Disconnect the electrical connectors. See Figure. Disconnect the vacuum connectors.
