2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Removal (6.5L)
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove engine cover. Raise and support vehicle. Remove air intake duct from between air cleaner and turbocharger. Remove upper intake manifold. See appropriate article in ENGINES.
  2. Remove outlet to intake duct rubber connector and loosen exhaust pipe-to-turbocharger exhaust pipe. Remove heat shields.
  3. Remove vacuum hose from wastegate actuator. Remove turbocharger-to-block bolts. Remove turbocharger.
