- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove engine cover. Raise and support vehicle. Remove air intake duct from between air cleaner and turbocharger. Remove upper intake manifold. See appropriate article in ENGINES.
- Remove outlet to intake duct rubber connector and loosen exhaust pipe-to-turbocharger exhaust pipe. Remove heat shields.
- Remove vacuum hose from wastegate actuator. Remove turbocharger-to-block bolts. Remove turbocharger.
