2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Test O: Charge Indicator Inoperative
  1. If engine electrical system diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If engine electrical system diagnostic system check has not been performed, go to ENGINE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECKΒ  under SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Observe CHARGE indicator. If CHARGE indicator is not illuminated, go to next step. If CHARGE indicator is illuminated, check for intermittent or poor connections. Repair as necessary.
  3. Replace the charge indicator bulb, then go to next step.
  4. Operate system to verify fault no longer exists. If fault still exists, go to step Β 2 .
