2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the module to the vehicle.
- Loosely install the 9 bolts retaining the module to the roof.
- Use a drill bit to align the 2 holes (6 and 7).
- Refer to FASTENER NOTICE
in Cautions and Notices.
Tighten the 9 bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the 9 bolts in the sequence shown to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Install the drain hoses. Refer to Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement , and Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement .
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Pickup) , Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Utility) in Interior Trim.
- Install the finishing lace. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement .
- Synchronize the sunroof motor if necessary. Refer to Sunroof Actuator Motor Synchronization .
