2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the window completely.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel ReplacementΒ .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector ReplacementΒ .
  4. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle ReplacementΒ .

  6. Remove the clip that retains the lock cylinder lever to the lock cylinder.
  7. Remove the lock cylinder retainer. Remove the lock cylinder from the outside door handle.
