- Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the inside door handle mounting bolts.
- Slide the inside door handle forward to release the unit from the door.
- Disconnect the control rod from the inside door handle.
- Remove the door handle assembly from the door.
