- Remove the upper intake manifold sight shield using the following procedure:
- Remove the retaining bolt in the front of the shield.
- Lift up on the front of the shield.
- Lift the shield off the rear bracket.
- Remove the intake air heater harness connector nut.
- Remove the intake air heater from the inlet pipe.
