- Disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor harness connector. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement .
- Loosen the retaining screws (7) holding the air cleaner housing halves together.
- Separate the housing halves and remove the air filter element.
- Inspect the filter housing for debris and damage.
