  1. Install the linkage rod to the endgate handle assembly.

  3. Engage the linkage rod (1) to the latch assembly.
  4. Install the endgate latch assembly. Refer to Endgate Latch Replacement (Pickup)Β .
  5. Raise the endgate.

  7. Install the endgate handle bezel.

  9. Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Tighten the endgate handle bolts.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the handle bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
