2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Slide in the rear tabs of the module.

    Push up in order to engage the module.

  3. Install the ashtray. Refer to Ashtray Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  4. Install the IP auxiliary storage compartment, if equipped. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Non-Luxury) or Knee Bolster Replacement (Luxury) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary Battery) .
