- Remove the appropriate instrument panel (IP) insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- RIGHT or CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- LEFT .
- Rotate the IP courtesy lamp socket counterclockwise. Remove the socket from the IP insulator.
- Remove the bulb from the socket.
