Removal Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rubber conduit. Refer to RUBBER CONDUIT REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR  .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  4. Remove the door speaker. Refer to SPEAKER REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR .
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. Remove the front door inner sealing strip. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR WINDOW BELT INNER  .
  7. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR WINDOW BELT OUTER - FRONT  .
  8. Remove the window. Refer to WINDOW REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  9. Remove the window weatherstrip. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR WINDOW  .
  10. Remove the window regulator. Refer to WINDOW REGULATOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  11. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT OUTSIDE  .
  12. Remove the inside handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT INSIDE  .
  13. Remove the lock. Refer to LOCK REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  14. Remove the door side molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR FRAME  .
  15. Support the door.
  16. Remove the intermediate door hinge bolts.

  17. Remove the door.
