Install the exhaust crossover pipe seal to the exhaust crossover pipe at the right exhaust manifold connection.
Install the exhaust crossover pipe.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the exhaust crossover pipe bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

Install the exhaust crossover heat shield.
Install the exhaust crossover heat shield nuts.
Tighten

Tighten the nuts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCT in Removal & Installation - A/T.
Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L36) or FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L67) in Engine Mechanical - 3.8L.
