Air Injection Check Valve Installation

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Air Injection Check Valve Installation

  1. Install air injection check valve pipe adapters, rear.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve pipe adapters to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  2. Install air injection check valve pipe adapters, front.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve pipe adapters to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install air injection check valve rear bracket and nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve rear bracket nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install air injection check valve front bracket, bolt and nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve front bracket bolt and nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install air injection check valve rear.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  6. Install air injection check valve nut, rear.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve nut rear to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Install air injection check valve front.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve front to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  8. Install air injection check valve nut front.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  9. Install air injection solenoid switch and bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection solenoid switch bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  10. Install air injection check valve pipe, clamps, and bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air injection check valve pipe bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  11. Install air injection vacuum hose.
