- Install the hood to the vehicle with an assistant.
- Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the bolts to the upper hood hinge, with an assistant.
Tighten
Tighten the upper hood hinge bolts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
- Install the assist rods to the hood. Refer to Assist Rod Replacement - Hood .
- Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
