Removal Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Using a small flat bladed tool, open the assist handle covers.
  2. Remove the screws from the assist handle.

  3. Remove the assist handle.

    Important:Β  The plastic retainers to the side rail lamp base plate might drop out. Note the location of the retainers.

  4. Remove the side rail lamp base plate.
  5. If necessary, pull the service loop loose from the glue.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side rail lamp.

  7. Slide the lamp socket from the base plate.

  8. Remove the bulb if necessary.
