2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the hood latch from the hood latch support bracket. Refer to Hood Latch ReplacementΒ .
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia bracket from the hood latch support. Refer to FASCIA BRACKET REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER .
  4. Remove the bolts from the hood latch support bracket at the upper tie bar.

  5. Remove the nut from the hood latch support bracket at the lower tie bar.

  7. Remove the hood latch support bracket from the vehicle.
